EXPERT ROCKET LEAGUE CONTROLLER SETTINGS

From SCUF's features to recommended layouts, here are some of the best Rocket league controller settings and recommendations to improve your gameplay.

Step One: Selecting Other SCUF Options

Vibration

Reduce discomfort and fatigue by ordering your SCUF without vibration modules / rumbles. This Rocket League pro controller setup will lighten the overall weight making it more comfortable to play for long periods of time.

Sax Buttons

If you are a SCUF Envision owner, you have two additional access points called SAX Buttons designed to further reduce finger movement away from the Triggers and improve your performance. These are located on the side of the controller which you can engage using your inner finger. This can boost your overall gaming experience.

One of the best Rocket League controller settings is having more control when performing aerial movements and having the ability to Air Roll Left and Air Roll Right as it gives you a huge advantage on console.

To achieve this Rocket League controller configuration, first start by assigning these functions to button bindings.

  1. Go into Options > Controls > View/Change Bindings
  2. Assign Air Roll Left to L1
  3. Assign Air Roll Right to R1
  4. From here, set Air Roll Left (L1) to S1 and Air Roll Right (R1) to S2.

Step Two: Advanced Game Settings

Vibration

Now that you know about all the Rocket League controller settings that will make you a better player, let’s move onto the digital settings so that you can get the most out of your gameplay with your SCUF and play like the best professional players. We recommend going into your Rocket League settings and making a couple tweaks from the default setup.

While the camera shake setting can add some cool visual effects while playing, it can hinder your view and is unnecessary.

  • Go into Options > Camera > Uncheck Camera Shake

Increase how quickly the camera moves around when you’re using the right thumbstick.

  • Go into Options > Camera > Swivel Speed > 5.00

Keep control over your view by having the ability to switch between keeping your camera on the ball or on your car.

  • Go into Options > Controls > Ball Camera Mode > Toggle

To recap some settings discussed in Improving Your Aim in Rocket League there are two additional camera settings to improve your gameplay:

Max out your field of view to be able to see the largest amount of the field as possible on your screen.

  • Go into Options > Camera > Field of View > 110

Keep your view as accurate as possible by increasing how stiffly the cam follows your car.

  • Go into Options > Camera > Stiffness > 0.60

Play like a Pro

Now that you have customized the different aspects of your Rocket League controller settings, it’s time to jump in-game and test your new setup. Like every change, adjusting to these new Rocket League control settings may take some time - however, with practice and dedication, every SCUF feature will help you reach your full potential!
