How do I return my product for a refund?

To return your SCUF for a refund, please fill out the SCUF Repair, Upgrade, or Return Request Form found here. Once submitted, instructions for completing the return process will be emailed to you.

You have 14 days from the day of original delivery to return your controller to us. A refund will be issued via the original payment method 18-21 business days after your controller has been received at our facility.

As all SCUF controllers are hand-made to your specifications, there is a 15% restocking fee for all non-defective product returns. Original shipping costs will also not be refunded. If your item is defective, the restocking fee will be waived.

In-warranty repairs will be completed and mailed back to you free of charge.

Out-of-warranty repairs and requests for upgrades will require payment before work is completed. Once received, our technicians will thoroughly inspect your controller and email an itemized quote for your approval.

Repairs and upgrades require 18-21 business days for completion. For non-warranty work, this timeframe starts after you have approved your quote and payment has been received.

How much does it cost to repair / upgrade my controller?

Costs associated with a non-warranty repair or upgrade are handled on a case by case basis. Once received in our facility, a SCUF technician will thoroughly inspect your controller and email you a quote for getting your controller back to premium condition.

In the United States, non-warranty and upgrade services start at $19.95 and generally range from $19.95 to $85.

How do I know if my controller is in warranty?

All SCUF controllers come with at 6-month (180 day) warranty from the date your order is delivered to you. All accessories come with a 30 day warranty from the date you received your accessory.

When will I receive my refund?

All refunds are issued after your controller has been received and inspected by our team. This process generally requires 18-21 business days from when it is received in our facility.


How do I check the status of my returned controller?

The best way to track the status of your return is to contact us via a support ticket. For a faster response, please be sure to include your order and/or seal of approval number.


How do I approve and pay for a non-warranty repair or upgrade quote?

For US non-warranty repair or upgrade costs, there are two options for approving a quote and providing payment:

  • If you wish to pay via PayPal you can send the payment (which must be in USD) to us at [email protected].
  • If you wish to pay via credit/debit card, please give us a call at 404-851-9261 and reference your return authorization number.

If I’m outside of my warranty, can you still repair my SCUF?

Yes, unless listed below we can repair or upgrade your SCUF. The cost of each repair or upgrade is determined on a case-by-case basis and we will not be able to provide an accurate quote until we’ve received and inspected your controller.

The following (older) SCUF controllers are no longer available for repair or upgrade services:

  • SCUF ONE (as of October 2015)
  • SCUF 4PS (as of November 2016)
  • SCUF Infinity4PS (as of September 2017)
  • SCUF Hybrid 360 (as of May 2018)

What is the SCUF Seal of Approval and where do I find it?

The SCUF Seal of Approval proves that your controller is tournament-legal and contains no modifications which would otherwise disqualify it for use in competition. It also validates your warranty and shows the controller has not been opened or tampered with. Removal of the SCUF seal will invalidate your warranty and should only be removed by a SCUF technician.

The SCUF Seal of Approval is found on the back of your controller (PlayStation) or inside the paddle hatch (Xbox). This unique number will start with the following:

SCUF Vantage = AB
SCUF Infinity1 = INX
SCUF Elite = ELT
SCUF Impact = IMP
SCUF Infinity 4PS Pro = INF


Will SCUF pay for repair item shipping costs?

For in-warranty repairs, SCUF will email you a pre-paid shipping label to bring your controller to our facility. If you do not receive this email with your RMA confirmation, please create a support ticket and we’ll have one sent ASAP. SCUF will also cover outbound shipping costs associated with the return of in-warranty items.

If your item is not in warranty, you will be responsible for shipping costs to and from our facility.
