PlayStation 4 Controllers

We are dedicated to providing players all around the world with professional-grade controllers. Every SCUF controller is hand-crafted, hand-finished, and hand-tested. Please see below for answers to general questions for our customer support team.

Why won't my SCUF Quick Shift Triggers Stops work while playing Call of Duty: WWII Beta?

The activation point of the triggers vary from one game to an other and in some instances our SCUF Quick Shift Trigger Stops may not allow the trigger to reach the activation point in the Call of Duty: WWII Beta.

For the duration of the beta, the issue can be resolved by ensuring your adjustable hair triggers are not tightened and back to their initial level. You will also need to ensure your quick shift trigger stops are set to OFF. The studio developer of Call of Duty: World War II has already announced they will be modifying some aspects and mechanics of the game after the beta phase. We will adjust our triggers based on the final revision of the activation point to ensure they are compatible for the final version of the game due to release on November 3rd 2017.

How do I reset my SCUF controller?

If your controller won't pair, won't respond, or is displaying a flashing light, please follow the instructions on how to reset the controller:

  1. Turn off the PlayStation 4.
  2. Locate the small reset button on the back of the SCUF Infinity4PS near the L2 shoulder button.
  3. Use a small, unfolded paper-clip or something similar to push the button (the button is inside a tiny hole). Hold the button down for a couple of seconds and release.
  4. After resetting the controller, re-pair the SCUF with the PS4 by connecting the USB cable to the controller and the system, and turn the PS4 on.
  5. Press the PS button to log in to the PS4.

If this does not resolve your issue, please send us an email by submitting a ticket.

Thumbstick drift or unintended in-game character movement.

Try holding down the thumbstick for 15 seconds and then slowly rotating it 360° both clockwise and counterclockwise. This should reset your thumbstick into place and eliminate the unintended movements.

If these steps don't solve the issue, please contact our Repair department by clicking the "Submit a Request" button at the top of this page.

Does my SCUF come with a warranty?

Yes, it does! Every new SCUF Infinity4PS comes with a 90-day warranty, which starts from the day of delivery. We do not offer a warranty on controllers sent in for SCUF Send-In-Your-Own service, as we cannot guarantee the functionality of a used controller, though the work done on the serviced controller is warrantied (i.e. if you send your DualShock 4 to add paddles, the paddles are under warranty, but the rest of your controller is not.) If you need to send your controller back for a warranty-related issue, please be sure to include any related information for the controller you are sending back.

How do I use the EMR function on my SCUF Infinity4PS ?

PLEASE NOTE: This is an optional feature available if selected at time of purchase.
WARNING: The SCUF Mag Key contains a powerful Neodymium Magnet.

  1. Turn on the game console and your SCUF controller.
  2. Place the EMR Mag Key on the back of the controller (as indicated) so the magnet symbol latches onto the controller.
  3. Press and hold the paddle that you wish to remap a function.
  4. Press and hold the function (Χ, Ο, ∆, □, L DPAD, R DPAD, Left Thumbstick down, Right Thumbstick down) that you would like to map to a paddle.
  5. Release the function.
  6. Release the paddle.
  7. Remove the EMR Mag Key and place it at least 5cm away from the back of the controller to prevent the SCUF controller from accidentally entering remapping mode.

How do I remove/replace my Trigger Covers or Trigger Extenders?

  1. To remove the trigger cover, make sure the Quick Shift Trigger Stop is in the 'OFF" position. Push the trigger down onto the stop.
  2. Lift the bottom of the cover straight up to separate from the trigger mechanism.
  3. To replace the trigger cover, push the trigger down on the Quick Shift Trigger Stop, then snap the top part of the cover on first, then tilt the cover down to snap on the bottom.

How to change from a wireless to wired connection on an Infinity4PS ?

In order to change from from a wireless connection to a wired one, start by turning off your PS4. When it is off, attach your charging cable to the appropriate socket in the middle of the front of your controller. Connect the opposite USB side of this cable to one of the USB ports on your PS4, and switch the console back on. Press the PS button to when prompted on screen, and you should be connected.
