If I am outside of my warranty, can you still repair my SCUF?

Of course we can! We will service your SCUF for as long as you own it! The cost of each repair or upgrade is determined on a case-by-case basis, but most of our pricing is in line with the cost of the options on our website. Once your SCUF is repaired and tested by our SCUF technicians, we'll send you an email with the shipping information. All repairs are covered under our 90-day Limited Warranty.

Please be sure to fill out all the information related to the controller you are sending back. We recommend that you use a traceable shipping service when sending us your controller.

How long does it take to get my order?

Each SCUF controller is handcrafted and built to specification. We offer multiple delivery speeds for gamers who want to get their custom SCUF controller as quickly as possible. Delivery speed includes the build time of your controller as well as its expected delivery time. Please note that business days are Monday through Friday.

What are your hours of operation?

Scuf Gaming Customer Support's normal hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and closed on Sunday.

Holiday Hours will begin on November 24, 2017 and end on December 21st, 2017. We will be open from 9 AM to 9 PM Eastern Standard Time, Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 5 PM, and Sundays 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We will be closed on November 23rd in observance of Thanksgiving and December 25th thru the 26th in observance of Christmas.

My SCUF has an issue and it's under warranty, how do I get it fixed?

All In-Warranty Repairs are covered under our 90-day SCUF Limited Warranty.

What Does the Warranty Cover?

We provide this Warranty to you to ensure the Game Controller and/or Accessory is free from defect, malfunction or failure. At our expense, we will either replace or repair your Game Controller or Accessory, in accordance with the terms of this Warranty. SCUF Gaming will fully cover the cost of shipping to and from our facility. Once your SCUF is repaired and tested by our SCUF technicians, we will send you an email with the shipping information. This Warranty does not protect any gaming controller, device, apparatus or accessory not purchased directly from us.

To initiate a repair, please be sure to fill out as much information as possible about the controller you are returning.


SCUF Grip vs. Pro Grip: What's the difference?

SCUF Grip is a military-grade rubber coating that covers the back side of the controller for a texturized feel that is cool to the touch and allows the controller to adhere more securely to the hands. If you do not want the entire back of the controller coated with SCUF grip, we also offer SCUF grip handles for the SCUF Infinity1 controller, so that the grip is only maintained where your palms are touching the controller.

Pro Grip is a softer rubber that coats the back of the handles, allowing your fingers to conform comfortably for a better handle on the controller.

We offer the SCUF Grip + Pro Grip combo for the best of both worlds: the definitive security and control of SCUF Grip along the back of the controller matched with the soft, logo-embossed Pro Grip handles.


SCUF Key vs. Allen Key vs. EMR Magnetic Key: What's the difference?

The SCUF Key is a 1.5mm hexagonal key designed to install or remove your SCUF paddles. The SCUF key can be included with a bag of tools packaged with your SCUF controller, or as a standalone accessory. The SCUF Key can be purchased under our accessories section for $4.95.

The Allen Key is a .9mm hexagonal key designed to adjust the tension of the trigger stop mechanisms for your SCUF Infinity1 or SCUF Hybrid/Classic controller. This key is located within the small bag of tools packaged with your SCUF controller.

The ElectroMagnetic Remapping Magnet Key (a.k.a. EMR Key, EMR Mag Key) is a small magnet with the SCUF logo on one side, and a red magnet symbol on the other. It interacts with your SCUF Infinity1 or SCUF Infinity4PS controller to change the functions of the SCUF paddles. This is attached to a keychain and a set of instructions, and is packaged either with your SCUF controller, or as a standalone accessory. The EMR Key can be purchased in our accessories section for $8.95.


Can I send my own controller in to be SCUF'd up?

Yes, you can have your own controller SCUF'd-UP! For more information concerning how to have your controller upgraded to a SCUF controller please visit our Send-in-Service page here.

What is the Scuf Gaming return policy?

You have 14 days, from the day of delivery, to return your controller to us. As all SCUF Controllers are hand-made to your specifications, there is a 15% restocking fee for all products returned, unless a returned item is defective, in which case the restocking fee may be waived. If there is any damage or excessive wear to the item, there will be an additional charge, based on the cost of repair or replacement.


What is the SCUF warranty and what does it cover?

The 90-day warranty covers the cosmetic condition of the controller upon delivery and its full functionality. The warranty does not cover excessive wear or damage to the controller, which may be determined by inspection upon return. Examples of what would not be covered include, but are not limited to, torn or damaged power cord, damage from controller being dropped, liquid damage, or food crumbs getting in or on the controller.

We do not offer a warranty on controllers sent in for SCUF Send-In-Your-Own service, as we cannot guarantee the functionality of a used controller, though the work done on the serviced controller is warrantied (i.e. if you send your controller to add paddles, the paddles are under warranty, but the rest of your controller is not.) If you need to send your controller back for a warranty-related issue, please contact us.


Can I use a 3rd party grip add-on product with my SCUF Controller?

We do not advise using a 3rd Party grip add-on product with your SCUF controller. The additional thickness of the grip can make the controller feel unnatural and can also interfere with the operation of the paddles on the back. We recommend having Grip as an integral part of the controller, which is why we offer SCUF Grip and recommend a “No-Sweat Grip solution” in the form of GamerGrip. Additionally, we cannot guarantee repairing or servicing any controllers with added grip because it can deface the controller as we remove the Grip.


Can I change my paddle configuration?

Yes, you can! You can send your controller back to us to have your paddle configuration changed for a small fee. When sending your controller to us, please click on this link and be sure to fill out the information related to the controller you are returning.

What is the SCUF Seal of Approval?

The SCUF Seal of Approval proves that your controller is tournament-legal and contains no modifications which would otherwise disqualify it for use in competition. It also validates your warranty and shows the controller has not been opened or tampered with. Removal of the SCUF seal will invalidate your warranty. Therefore this seal should only be removed by a SCUF technician.


I want to add a feature to my SCUF Controller, but I don't see it.

If you are not able to select an option on our website, it is not available for the controller you are customizing. This could be because we are currently out-of-stock on that item or, in the case of many team controllers, we are only able to offer a specific configuration for certain SCUF designs.

Can I get a custom design on my SCUF Controller?

We do not currently offer this service, but may incorporate it in the future!


Can I use my SCUF Infinity4PS PRO, Infinity1, or IMPACT on my PC for CoD:WWII?

Yes! SCUF’s IMPACT and Infinity series custom controllers for the Xbox One and Playstation 4 are compatible with the PC.


What is the best way to use my SCUF for CoD: WWII?

During the CoD: WWII betas, SCUF typically saw a large number of players map their left paddles to jump, and their right paddles to either slide/crouch or melee, depending on their playstyle. While this is a fairly common way of playing, it can be altered through SCUF’s unique EMR feature (hyperlink to EMR purchase page here) which allows players to change their paddle configuration without even having to turn off their PC or console.
