Wildcards are still relatively new to the Call of Duty franchise since they were first introduced in Black Ops Cold War. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 marks their return. In the game, you’ll come across six wildcards that you can unlock by diving into several multiplayer battlegrounds. Like perks, wildcards can also be utilized once with every brand-new loadout you’re trying out.
Some perks let you carry more weapons, equipment, and, at times, attachments, with these customizations making every loadout more exciting and easier to use. Unfortunately, Black Ops 6 Multiplayer doesn’t reveal all of the wildcards at first or the criteria required to unlock them. To get a wildcard in Black Ops 6, players are required to level up their profile level (Military Rank).
This is a crucial step to unlocking other items in the game as well, from brand-new weapons to equipment. Black Ops 6 features six wildcards, with each one having a different effect on a loadout. Following is a detailed description of each wildcard and how they can be unlocked.
Wildcards | Unlock Level | Description |
Tactical Expert | 15 | Spawn with two extra uses of your tactical equipment. |
Overkill | 24 | Allows players to carry one extra primary weapon instead of a secondary. It’s important to note that the second weapon cannot be a melee weapon. |
Gunfighter | 33 | It provides you with an extra three attachment slots to allow you to alter your primary weapon as you see fit. |
Danger Close | 38 | Spawn with two extra uses of your lethal equipment. |
Prepper | 45 | It allows players to equip two unique field upgrades simultaneously. |
Perk Greed | 54 | Opens up an extra perk slot for players, which allows for four perks in one loadout. |
If you wish to unlock every Wildcard featured in Black Ops 6, you’ll have to spend a lot of time in the game. One reliable way is to complete daily challenges and receive XP rewards. Players can also achieve their target by playing objectives in specific game modes like Domination, Hardpoint, and Kill Order. Players can use a Double XP Token to maximize their XP gains. They can be earned through special events, Prestige rewards, promotional events, and store bundles.
