What is New in Fortnite Chapter 2

After two days of Fortnite Battle Royale mysteriously being sucked into a black hole, Epic finally revealed a whole new world: Fortnite Chapter 2.

Whether you’re a veteran or a new player, it’s a welcomed reset to the most popular game out there.

Here’s how SCUF can help you gain the advantage in Fortnite and what is new with Fortnite Chapter 2.

Victory Royales with SCUF

Building during combat efficiently is essential to win in Fortnite; quickly switch between combat and build mode, jump, and place building pieces using paddles on the SCUF IMPACT for PlayStation 4® and SCUF Prestige for Xbox One®.

Each SCUF has interchangeable thumbsticks to suit your playstyle. With Fortnite Chapter 2 introducing new ways to enhance your preferred playstyle whether than be defensive or aggressive, you can select the best thumbsticks to suit your needs.

  • For Defensive Players, be quick to move and be steady with your aim: we recommend a Short Concave Thumbstick on the left and a Tall Domed Thumbstick on the right.

  • For Aggressive Players, be quick to move and to aim: we recommend a Short Concave Thumbstick on the left, and a Short Domed Thumbstick on the right.

What’s New in Fortnite Chapter 2

Just like the mysterious “The End” event, the first time you drop into Fortnite since the update will be shrouded in mystery.

It will randomly drop you on the map and you have to discover locations to have them revealed to you on the map.

  • The battle pass can now be advanced by discovering the map, completing challenges and earning in game medals.

  • Fortnite Chapter 2 has removed a lot of the whacky weapons they have introduced over the last couple of years, and gone back to weapon basics.

  • That being said, they have introduced a new “upgrade bench” where you can upgrade your weapons using materials you’ve collected.

  • They’ve introduced a new item called the Bandage Bazooka which you can heal teammates and yourself with.

  • You can now pick up and carry downed teammates to safety or mess with your enemies by picking them up when they’re down.

  • There are new interactive environments like explosive gas tanks and barrels.

  • To help out with more stealthy defensive players, you can now hide in haystacks and dumpsters to get the drop on your enemies.

  • The new map is more mountainous, but also features small rivers running throughout the landscape; they’ve introduced new motorboats to traverse the new terrain. You can also fish for weapons in the water.

  • There are still Solo, Duo, and Squad queues, but they’ve now added Trios.

  • You also no longer have to return to the lobby to queue for the next game.

  • They have made the health and shield bars larger, and shifted them from the bottom corner up on to the side
