How to Set Up Your SCUF Envision

Here's how to quickly set up your new SCUF Envision on your PC:

  1. Download and install iCUE by going to scuf.co/downloads.
  2. Once iCUE has been installed and opened, plug your Envision into your PC using the USB-C cable. If you have an Envision Pro, make sure the connectivity switch is set to USB.
  3. Wait for iCUE to automatically detect the controller and download the necessary driver. Once complete, we recommend restarting your PC.
  4. After powering back on, your Envision is now ready to go in-game.

How to Launch iCUE

Here’s how to set a button as a shortcut to launch an application like your web browser or Spotify directly on your controller, start by navigating to the Mapping section. Choose the Custom tab, then click the yellow plus. Navigate through the Mapping Type window to the Launch App option.

Using the controller image, click on the button you want to make as a shortcut — we recommend one of the G Keys.

Next, select the application you would like that button to launch. You can choose from a list of preset applications or add any application from your computer. To add a new one, click the gray plus icon next to Select App to Launch and navigate to your desired app.

Your app is now a button press away.

How to Remap Software in iCUE

Here's how to configure your mappings to use while iCUE is open:

Start by opening iCUE and navigating to the Mapping section. From there, choose if you want to use preset mappings or create your own custom mapping. To create a custom, choose the Custom tab and click the yellow plus.

Next, select the type of mapping you want. Using the controller image, select the button you wish to remap. Lastly, select the specific function that you want to assign to your selected button. You can confirm the remapping was successful via the censored image.

Your new mappings are now ready to use in-game.

How to Hardware Remap in iCUE

Here's how to configure the hardware mappings for your SCUF Envision:

Start by opening iCUE and navigating to the Hardware Mapping section. From there, choose if you want to use preset mappings or create your own custom mapping. To create a custom, choose the Custom tab and click the yellow plus.

Next, select the type of mapping you want. Using the controller image, select the button you wish to remap. Select the specific function that you want to assign to your selected button. You can confirm the remapping was successful via the censored image.

Once you are happy with the changes, you need to save your profile. Start by clicking Device Settings, then navigate down to the Onboard Memory section. Click the three dots next to the slot number you want to save your changes to and click Overwrite.

Your new hardware mappings are now ready to use in-game when iCUE is not running.

How to Adjust Vibration in iCUE

Here's how to adjust or turn off one or both vibration modules of your SCUF Envision controller:

To get started, click the Vibration tab in iCUE. You will have the option of selecting one of our recommended profiles for various game genres or creating your own. To create your own, click the yellow plus.

To adjust the vibration level, simply click on the white dot and drag to your desired level. Please note that both sliders will mirror each other while the Sync button is on. To turn off your vibrations altogether, simply slide all the way to the left.

Your new vibration intensity is now ready for your next game.

How to Create Macros in iCUE

Here's how to set up a macro and map it to your SCUF Envision controller:

Start by navigating to the Mapping section. From there, choose the Custom tab and click the yellow plus. Select Macro at the bottom of the Mapping Type window.

Using the controller image, click on the button you want to change. Once your button is selected, press the Record button, and any action you do with your mouse or keyboard will be recorded. This includes anything you type into your keyboard and anywhere your mouse moves or clicks.

Press Stop when you are done, and your macro will now be saved to your selected button.

How to Adjust Trigger Deadzones in iCUE

Here's how to manually adjust your trigger dead zones:

Begin by clicking on the Triggers tab. To adjust your dead zone, simply click and drag the dead zone slider at the bottom. To prevent potential issues in-game, you can observe the difference by moving each trigger.

To create your own, click the yellow plus. You can choose from one of the preset curve responses or click Custom to further configure your own.

To adjust each step, simply click each of the six dots and drag to your desired response. Repeat this for both your left and right triggers as you tune. Please note that the X-axis represents how much the thumbstick is moved, and the Y-axis represents the activation speed.

How to Adjust Thumbstick Deadzones in iCUE

How to Swap Your Thumbsticks

Here’s how to swap your SCUF Envision's thumbsticks:

Begin by gently pulling the faceplate from the top of the controller and carefully lifting it over the thumbsticks. Next, grab the thumbstick you want to remove and pull up firmly.

To place on a new thumbstick, align the hole on the bottom of the thumbstick to the thumbstick post. If it doesn't slide in immediately, rotate the thumbstick until it locks into place.

Replace the faceplate and enjoy your game. SCUF Envision thumbsticks are available in multiple shapes, lengths, and colors.

How to Remap Your Profiles

Here’s how to change and remap your SCUF Envision's three onboard profiles without needing to use iCUE:

Locate the Profile button on the front of the controller. Press the Profile button until you see the color profile you want to change. Hold the Profile button until it starts to blink. You’re now in remapping mode.

To remap your paddles and SAX buttons, press the paddle or SAX button you want to change. At the same time, press the button you want to map it to. Your RGB lighting strip will turn white, and the controller will vibrate if it is successful. Simply press the Profile button again. The light will stop blinking, and you’re good to go.
